Good evening ~

Yesterday, April 6,
Was the first anniversary of Keyakizaka46's debut.
I really felt so grateful as we reached that day.

And, at Yoyogi #1 Gymnasium
We had our 1st Anniversary Live!!!

Thank you very much to everyone who came.

[Neru and Yonetani Nanami]
[Kakizaki Memi and Neru]

From deep in my heart, I felt the desire to do my best with everyone.

Thank you very much for reading my blog.

Neru pictured with two important members: Yonetami Nanami, the member of Kanji Keyaki who most resisted Neru's arrival in November 2015, but later became her friend. They apparently went to the same school -- a somewhat superior school to the one most members attended. Neru has now graduated. Yone-san was a close second to Neru in the Keyakizaka46 "Intelligence Queen" contest some months ago on the  KeyaKake TV show.

Young Kakizaki Memi (15) was management's choice as future centre of Hiragana Keyaki, and acted as double centre with Neru on their first two songs, but was shifted to the back row as a kind of "shadow centre" to Neru for the third. I intuit from her blog -- and her slowing pace of posting -- that she is feeling a bit down these days, as she adjusts to a new life in Tokyo. And she also may be having some difficulty improving her dancing and singing. Memi loves physical contact with other members, and went cheek to cheek with Neru backstage at the Hiragana Omotenashikai, when Neru was freaking out with nervousness. Memi is an unusually calm and contained person.

Neru loves the recently-finished TV drama Quartet. She has spoken about it on the blog and on Hirate's radio show. She has particularly praised the work of actress Yoshioka Riho 吉岡里帆, who played the sweetly evil "devil woman" character, Arisu. I agree: she was outstanding in an important and memorable supporting role.

Now Yoshioka-san has returned the compliment. She was at Thursday's Keyakizaka live, shouting support for Neru. She says in her Instagram that the concert was fantastic, and that the audience was stunned by "Tecchan's" performance in Fukyouwaon. (Wikipedia, Instagram, blog). Yoshioka-san is 24, from Kyoto, and went to Kyoto University for a while, intending to become a calligraphy master, but quit to go into entertainment: she has done TV dramas and commercials, as well as being a popular gravure model (including swimsuit gravure), and now has a radio show called UR LIFESTYLE COLLEGE.
